About us

Chelsea Building Society Charitable Foundation was launched in 2000 to provide a focus for Chelsea’s charitable giving. The Charitable Foundation has enabled Chelsea Building Society to make donations to a huge variety of charitable causes close to our branch network and head office.

We focus our support on registered charities that help the homeless, give money advice, support children and young people, help those with mental health and learning difficulties, and support the elderly.

The Charitable Foundation is independent of Chelsea Building Society and has its own separate Board of Trustees.

In particular, the trustees are keen to support community based charities where small donations can make a significant difference to local people’s lives.
